In October of 2009, a friend convinced me to start this blog. Little did I know, over two years later I would still be writing it. Flash forward to September 2011; I walked into a small coffee shop off the beaten path on East Broadway — and I never left. Now I co-own the shop, live above it, and spend my days engaging with the neighborhood and constantly running up and down those stairs.
“What is the feeling when you’re driving away from people, and they recede on the plain till you see their specks dispersing? -it’s the too huge world vaulting us, and it’s good-bye. But we lean forward to the next crazy venture beneath the skies”.
